Event Postponed!
We have taken the very hard decision to postpone the event. There has been a lot of support for the event and as a consequence of this it has outgrown it's original venue. So far in excess of 100 stall applications have been received, around 80 of which are acceptable. Unfortunately nothing like this number would fit onto Chorlton Green! So we had a choice of greatly downsizing the event or postponing and finding a new venue. To downsize the event after the amount of effort (all voluntary) that has been put in, we felt would be against the ethos of the event. It would also be unfair to the stallholder applicants and to the wider Vegan and Vegetarian communities from Manchester and the North West who have been greatly looking forward to this event. To find and secure a new venue and hold the event on Oct 1st 2011 would not be achievable.
We now have new partners on board who are also geared towards having a very successful event that Manchester and the North West deserves, our best wishes go to the Horse and Jockey in Chorlton for their help.
The event will now be held next spring, in Manchester, keep your eyes on all of our media streams for information.
Peace and Love from McrVegFest!
